David Ramirez began his career in construction in 1996 as an "in house" contractor for the New York landscape design firm, Edwina von Gal and Company.
For two years David worked for EVG & Co. during which time he was exposed to some of the best landscape and architectural design in upstate New York and The Hamptons. Beginning with remodeling the Long Island City offices of EVG, he later began working for the firm constructing garden structures; pergolas, decking, garden sheds, fences and gates. During this time he became familiar with some of the decorators at these "job sites" and quickly moved towards expanding his interests and skills working within the homes themselves. His passion became forever ignited.
Returning to San Francisco in 1998, David embarked on a solo career during the first wave of the real estate explosion in the Bay Area, beginning with client work and later purchasing his own properties. Over the past 18 years he completed projects of all shapes and sizes, from simple single bathroom remodels to brand new construction of a 3 story home. Within all these various projects he was completely involved in every aspect from design, procuring permits to hands on work of all the necessary trades involved to complete the jobs.
David believes that one of the most important lessons learned from all this experience and interaction with his clients is the gift of giving them what they want, what they envision, more than just trying to impose his own ideas upon them. He wants to help you acheive a home that you have been imagining, through a collaborative effort, together.
